Coworking Space Rules, Disclaimer & Charges
These rules, disclaimers and charges apply to all members, visitors and guests using the coworking premises. They sit alongside the signed membership agreement and the general building rules.
1. General conduct
All members must maintain a professional and respectful environment within the coworking space.
Members must respect the personal space, privacy and working environment of other coworkers and refrain from intrusive behaviour or unnecessary disturbance.
Noise levels must be kept to a minimum. Phone calls and extended discussions should be conducted in designated areas.
Verbal disputes should be avoided. Concerns must be reported through official communication channels.
2. Workspace usage
Members must adhere to the number of seats allocated in their membership plan. Allowing additional individuals without permission will be treated as unauthorized access or trespassing.
Meeting rooms must be reserved in advance and used only within the allotted time slot to allow fair usage by others.
Members must clean up after themselves and maintain cleanliness in common areas such as meeting rooms, pantry areas and workspaces.
Personal belongings must not be left unattended, and the property of others must be respected.
Any damage caused to furniture, equipment or property of the coworking space will be charged to the responsible member.
3. Food and pantry policy
Food and beverages must be consumed only in designated areas. Members are responsible for disposing of waste properly and maintaining cleanliness.
Spills or mess created by members must be cleaned immediately to maintain hygiene within the workspace.
4. Smoking, alcohol and prohibited activities
The building is a 100% no-smoking and no-tobacco zone. Smoking or consumption of tobacco products within the premises may result in penalties.
Consumption of alcohol or prohibited substances within the coworking space is strictly prohibited.
Illegal activities, fraudulent business operations or misuse of the coworking address are strictly prohibited.
5. Internet and technology usage
Internet facilities are provided for professional and business purposes only. Members must refrain from accessing illegal, inappropriate or bandwidth-intensive content that may affect network performance.
Unauthorized downloading, illegal file sharing or activities violating cyber laws are strictly prohibited.
Internet services are a shared convenience facility. Uninterrupted connectivity, fixed bandwidth speeds or protection against cyber threats and data loss are not guaranteed, and members are solely responsible for their online activities.
6. Security and safety
Members must follow all security protocols, including securing doors after office hours and preventing entry of unauthorized individuals.
CCTV surveillance may be active in common areas for safety and security purposes. It does not guarantee complete prevention of theft, accidents or unauthorized activities.
In case of fire or emergency, contact emergency services on 112 immediately and inform the building administrator.
In case of theft or criminal activity, report the matter to the nearest police station. Building management is responsible only for common-area security.
Members must comply with all safety guidelines, including fire-safety procedures and emergency evacuation protocols.
7. Parking
Vehicles must be parked in an orderly manner, keeping entrances, exits and pathways unobstructed.
Parking is provided subject to availability. Vehicles are parked at the member's own risk, and management is not responsible for vehicle theft, damage or accidents in the parking area.
8. Membership and operational policies
Office AC operating hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM unless otherwise specified by management.
All members must sign a membership agreement outlining terms of use, fees and responsibilities before using the coworking facilities.
Usage beyond the agreed membership period will be charged at three times the regular daily rate unless prior approval has been obtained.
Use of the coworking space does not establish a landlord-tenant relationship. Members are granted a temporary licence to use workspace facilities subject to the membership agreement.
Management reserves the right to modify services, facilities, seating arrangements and operational policies whenever required.
9. Security deposit and exit policy
Refund of the security deposit is processed within 7–10 working days after successful handover and signing of the No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Successful handover requires removal of all business registrations, licences and online references using the coworking address, including Shop Act registration, GST registration, business registrations, Google listings, social media pages and any official documentation using the address.
Members must provide proof of such removal during exit. Failure to remove the address may result in withholding of the security deposit and further legal action if misuse continues.
10. Official communication policy
Any request relating to termination of membership, vacating the premises or discontinuation of services must be submitted in writing as per the notice period defined in the membership agreement.
Verbal communication will not be considered valid for official purposes.
Queries, complaints and support requests must be submitted through the official support system or support email.
Members are encouraged to provide constructive feedback and suggestions to management to improve the coworking experience.
11. Personal property and independent business responsibility
Members are fully responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings, including laptops, mobile devices, documents, business equipment and valuables. Management is not liable for loss, theft, damage or misplacement of personal property within the premises.
Members operate their businesses independently. The coworking centre does not endorse any member business, verify the legality of business operations, participate in members' business activities, or take responsibility for dealings between members and third parties.
Members are fully responsible for the actions and behaviour of their guests and visitors. Visitors may be required to register before entering, and management may restrict visitor access for security or operational reasons.
12. Payment transaction disclaimer
Any financial transaction carried out between individuals or businesses within the premises is strictly their personal responsibility. This includes payments for work or services, job-related payments, business transactions, consulting fees, freelance payments, partnership dealings, investments and lending.
The coworking centre only provides office space and related facilities and has no involvement in financial dealings conducted by members or visitors.
Any dispute, fraud, financial loss or legal issue arising from such transactions is the sole responsibility of the individuals involved.
13. Address usage disclaimer
Use of the coworking address for GST registration, Shop Act registration, company incorporation, business licences, bank registrations or online listings is permitted only where allowed under the membership plan and agreement.
Members are responsible for ensuring full legal compliance for address usage.
Upon termination, members must remove the address from government registrations, business licences, GST records, websites, Google listings, social media pages and marketing materials.
14. Service interruption and shared environment
Disruptions may occur due to electricity failure, internet outages, building maintenance, technical issues, government restrictions or natural events. Management is not liable for financial loss, business disruption or productivity loss resulting from such interruptions.
As a shared workspace, absolute silence, complete privacy and uninterrupted working conditions cannot be guaranteed. Members are expected to maintain professional conduct and cooperate with other coworkers.
15. Job offer and recruitment fraud protection
The premises must not be used for fraudulent job offers, fake recruitment activities or employment-related scams. Recruitment and hiring conducted from the premises must be legitimate, lawful and compliant with applicable employment and labour laws.
No member shall collect money from job seekers in the name of job placement, recruitment, training or employment processing fees, conduct fake interviews, issue misleading job offers or employment letters, or operate scam call centres or fraudulent employment services.
Recruitment activity conducted from the premises is the sole responsibility of the member conducting it. Management does not participate in or endorse any recruitment activity by members.
Members conducting interviews must ensure visitors are properly registered, interviews are conducted professionally, and facilities are not misused for recruitment fraud.
16. Law enforcement cooperation
Where any government authority, law enforcement agency, regulatory body or court of law requests information or initiates an investigation relating to a member's activities, management reserves the right to cooperate fully with such authorities.
Such cooperation may include providing membership records and identification documents, sharing access or visitor logs, providing CCTV footage from common areas where legally permitted, confirming address usage details, and responding to official notices, summons or legal communications.
Members are solely responsible for ensuring that their business activities comply with all applicable laws and for responding to any investigation, inquiry or legal action arising from their activities.
Where credible information or an official notice indicates possible illegal, fraudulent or unlawful activity, management may temporarily suspend workspace access, restrict services or terminate membership until the matter is clarified.
17. Limitation of liability and policy updates
Under no circumstances shall the coworking centre, its management, employees or associated entities be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, business losses, reputational damage or third-party claims arising from use of the coworking facilities.
Except where required by law, management is not liable for personal injury, accidents or medical emergencies occurring within the premises.
Management reserves the right to update or modify these policies and disclaimers at any time to maintain safety, operational efficiency and legal compliance. Members are responsible for reviewing updated policies periodically.
By entering or using the coworking space, all members and visitors acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these rules, policies and disclaimers. Failure to comply may result in penalties, suspension of services or termination of membership.
Schedule of charges and penalties
The following schedule outlines additional charges, penalties and recovery costs applicable in case of policy violations, delayed payments, misuse of facilities or damage to property. Management reserves the right to apply these charges and to revise the schedule periodically.
1. Late payment follow-up charges
All membership fees or rental payments must be paid on or before the due date mentioned in the membership agreement or invoice. These charges apply to administrative follow-ups on outstanding payments.

These charges cover the administrative effort and time involved in responding to official requests.

10. Extra electricity usage penalty
High-power appliances such as electric heaters, induction stoves, kettles, microwaves, personal refrigerators and similar equipment require prior written approval. Management may disconnect or remove unauthorized appliances to prevent electrical hazards.

Where legal action becomes necessary due to non-payment of dues, fraud, misuse of the address or breach of agreement, the member is responsible for legal notice charges, recovery charges, legal fees and court costs. Outstanding dues, damages, penalties and recovery charges may be added to the member's dues or adjusted against the security deposit before refund processing. Failure to clear dues may lead to suspension of services, termination of membership or legal recovery proceedings.
